Maintaining client engagement during long sessions over the internet
Hi All -
How do you all ensure engagement for longer periods of time (one ore more full days of consulting) in a remote environment? We seem to do well with small classes (training in nature), however, keeping engagement for multiple day sessions can be more difficult and we'd appreciate any ideas you all could share.

In my area we're working in a global remote environment since a while. At the beginning we did try to find solutions as you mentioned to keep people motivated. From regular breaks, gamification, questions and using all tools that exist. But I can't remember than anything of this worked. The biggest lesson learned I have is: Split the work accross multiple days into smaller chunks. Our experience is that everything beyond 2 hours is long, and you can probably keep 2x2h a day working. So, my question would be: is there any chance to split the consulting from 1 day into 2x half-days? Or better into 4x 2h? Why not recording parts of it? For example running 2x2h live during a day, and having another 2h recording (split into 30min chunks)?
