Lori Hurley leads Operations & Strategic Planning for Dell Technology Managed Services. In this role she has achieved Tell Dell Rock Star recognition for her outstanding leadership. Lori is responsible for global operations, communications and resource management. She was instrumental in leading the transition from Virtustream back to Dell Technologies. She was the point of contact for all workstreams and the organization was smoothly transitioned as scheduled with no major escalations. Since the transition Lori has taken lead on all integration aspects of the DTMS operations into the DTS organization. Within 3 quarters DTMS was fully integrated into the DTS operations and processes. Today she continues to evolve all aspects of our operations including deploying the DTMS data lake that will be the single source of truth for all DTMS operational and customer data. Prior to DTMS, Lori was the Director of Strategy Business Enablement for Global Business Services (GBS) at EMC Corporation. She was responsible for marketing and communications, new business development and global programs. GBS consists of over 2,300 skilled professionals worldwide; dedicated to improving process consistency, driving efficiencies and reducing operational costs. Lori is a member of the Women’s Leadership Forum and lead a chapter in Franklin, MA. Prior to joining GBS Lori spent 8 yrs in EMC IT in multiple roles supporting Engineering, Marketing and Sales. In her IT roles Lori supported multiple business units and successfully deploying several cross functional programs. Prior to joining EMC, Lori spent 5 years at Starwood Hotel and Resorts rolling out their revenue management system worldwide. Set strategic direction for the global team, oversaw the management, execution and development of a consistent approach.
